I must say that I’m a fan of gavin magnus girlfriend, because I’m a sucker for that type of story. It’s a romantic comedy about a geek-ish girl who has amazing powers and is a party-pooper. It’s one of those stories that I imagine my mom would find hilarious. But I want to take a second to talk about the fact that Lily is not just some simple geek girl, but a genius in the field of quantum physics.
In this case, the genius is her boyfriend Gavin Magnusson, which means she is also a geek-ish girl who has amazing powers and is a party-pooper. You’d think by this point that the audience would get into the joke, but they don’t. I just imagine they would have to be super smart to get this joke, but I mean, they don’t.
