They produce a very small amount of their wines, and sell them only from their estate. Their wines are a bit on the dry side, and the estate is all about terroir, which is the topic of this blog.

Pizzo Tronchetto, formerly known as Pinot Tronchetto, is one of the most famous Italian wineries in the world. They make a very small wine, but it is very good. After buying their wine, I had to take a bottle to my sister’s house for her 80th birthday. It turned out to be a really nice gift! The only thing that bothered me was that the bottle was a bit too big for her glass.

Pizzo Tronchetto has a bit of a cult following these days, and its wines tend to be very strong. They are very expensive, but that is not the main reason I ordered a bottle. I just really want to show off my new apartment.
