A lot of people don’t realize that the amount of time they spend on social media is a large part of their daily and weekly lives. The internet is the perfect tool for these people to connect with people from all over the world. Many of their friends are busy trying to keep up with their ever-growing fan list, which they have no problem doing, but they have no clue how much time they really spend on their phones or using their computers.

I know this is a bit of a rant, but it is incredibly easy to spend too much time on the internet. I’ve seen people spend hours, days, or even weeks on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. To many of us, these are all very important. But we also have no idea what we spend our time doing, or who our friends are.

We know that we are spending a lot of time on the internet because of our phones. In fact, in a recent study, it was found that the average American spends two and a half hours a day on their smartphone. So it seems that we can’t all just get out of the way and let technology take over our lives.

How much of our time is spent on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest? It’s hard to tell. But this is the question that really gets to us. How much of our time are we spending on our phones? How much of our time are we actually doing anything at all? The fact is that if we’re spending so much time on our phones, then we’re not actually doing anything productive.

The first thing to recognize is that phones have become the new desktop. The fact that we own a phone and spend hours on our phone seems ridiculous. But it’s true. Even in our early-mid teens, we were spending even more time on our phones than we did on our computers and other electronic devices. That trend is continuing.

This trend is continuing because it is so much easier to use technology to take down someone than to actually do something productive, especially for an adolescent. You must remember that the very reason our phones are so cheap is to allow us to use them as an excuse to sit still and talk to friends and family. You can use technology to keep yourself occupied, but you need to do something productive to actually be productive.
