SSC MTS is also known as Staff Selection Commission Multitasking Staff is an examination that is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission Itself. It is a national-level examination that is conducted to recruit officers for General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India. SSC MTS is conducted in two stages. They are Computer Based Exam and Descriptive type papers.

SSC MTS Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the SSC MTS examination are prescribed by the SSC ( Staff Selection Commission) itself. The age limit and educational qualification are the major criteria to qualify for the examinations. The following points mentioned below analyze the age limit and educational qualification criteria for the SSC MTS examination.

  • Age limit: The staff selection commission has made two separate groups for the age limit criteria for the SSC MTS examination. They are Age Group 1 and Age Group 2. In the age group 1, the minimum age limit criteria are 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. Likewise, in age group 2, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years. However, relaxation is offered to the reserved categories.
  • Education Qualification: The minimum education qualification to apply for the SSC MTS examination is having a class 10th board examination certificate. In most government examinations, the education qualification criteria require a class 12th examination certificate. However, the SSC MTS 10th class certificate will work.

What is the SSC GD Exam? 

SSC GD 2022 stands for Staff Selection Commission General Duty. It is an examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission itself. This exam takes place once a year to recruit candidates for the post of Constables i.e General duty in various forces. Some of them are Border Security Force, Rifleman in Assam Rifles, NIA (National investigation agency), secretariat security force ( SSF ), Sashastra Seema Bal ( SSB ).

How to download the SSC MTS Admit Card?

  • Firstly, visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. Then, click on the  SSC ( Staff Selection Commission ) admit card download link.
  •  Secondly, submit your registration details correctly with the appropriate number and proper phone number. An OTP ( One time Password ), might come to the registered phone number.
  •  Finally, the admit card with proper details will come to your screen. Check the admit card carefully.
  • Lastly, do not forget to take a hard copy or print it out. This admits card will be required at the time of examination.

SSC GD Eligibility 

The SSC (Staff Selection Commission ) sets or prescribes eligibility criteria for GD ( General Duty ) Examination. Education Qualification, Nationality, and Age Limit are the three main criteria prescribed by the SSC for the GD examination. The following points mentioned below analyze the eligibility criteria for the SSC GD examination 2022:

  • Education Qualification: To qualify for the SSC GD Examination, a candidate must hold significant and essential documents like a 10th class certificate from any government or private school. This will help them to qualify for the SSC GD examination. 
  • Nationality: In order to qualify for this examination, an aspirant or candidate must be a citizen of India. For migrated candidates, students must have a domicile or their state/ union territory.
  • Age Limit: The age limit criteria for the SSC GD examination is: that the candidate must appear for the examination between the age of 18-23 years. However, relaxation is provided to the reserved categories.
