By I first heard about this artist from the internet. She lives on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Keren is a contemporary sculptor, painter, and printmaker. She incorporates nature, plants, and the environment into her art. She doesn’t use any type of paint or masking to cover her work and in fact, it appears that she just uses the natural environment for her art.
With the possible exception of Picasso, I dont think there are any artists that are as prolific as Keren. She has been in the art business for over 25 years and has been working as an artist for 10 years now.
I think that Keren’s work is so expressive that artists today are beginning to feel less intimidated by her work. A lot of the artists that I know don’t have the time to pay attention to her art as much as they would like, but with this new video she is very much at ease with herself and her work. It was evident in the video that she was very proud of this new piece of art as well as the work and the experience she had with it.
You all know who she is and how she is. She works hard to make sure that the artists she works with are comfortable with themselves. She is very involved with her work, and is willing to go out of her way to help her artists make better art.

keren is a Canadian artist whose work blends a very technical eye with a sense of humor. So you can imagine how excited he was to have this opportunity to join us for this month’s art blog.
